For anybody wanting to do the Ride for Kids on April 25 at the Humble Civic Center (same place as last year), the fund raising pages are working. I set mine up today:
http://www.firstgiving.com/sloanessman

If you want to go on the ride and set up a fund-raising page of your own you can go here and just click the "Get Started" button. http://www.firstgiving.com/pbtfus

And there's a spot for creating/joining a team so I created a Ten West Sport Pilots team. You can search for it and join if you want.

And of course if you just want to pay your fee, show up, and ride, you can do that too without the fund-raising stuff. I think it's just $35 that gets you on the ride, and a ride pin (woo hoo). You get a t-shirt too if you pay $50. The full list is in the registration kit PDF.

Good judgment comes from experience. Unfortunately, experience usually comes from bad judgment.

I spammed most of the people on my gmail contacts list (ones that I keep in touch with at least)...

Lets hope they're all in a giving mood

I think I might print out some fliers and spread them around the hoity toity shopping districts like the Rice Village or Uptown Park one of these days.

I have to go by one of our title offices tomorrow, so I'm going to try to remember to print out some copies of the page and seed the office. 8)
