Sorry guys... I was going to be there, but I've just had one hell of a weekend.

Bear Trax is reserved for us starting Monday afternoon May 24 which is when I plan to arrive. We got 2 days free and some other discounts for reserving full weeks. So, our final checkout time is June 6 at 11am so that should be plenty of time no matter how long people want to stay. I'll bring all the details to the next meeting.

I have paid the deposit and we'll owe the rest 1 week before we arrive, as well as a refundable $300 damage fee, so if you tear anything up, you get to pay that!

The owner is sending me the official contract as well as some other info about the place, surrounding area, and attractions.

Hi guys ... been away from the forum for some time. Wont hurt to confirm I wont be going to the Gap this year either. It is something I would like to do, but I keep running out of vacation time every year, besides the fact that timing in May is never too good for me.

I'll mention too, that we're set for up to 14 adults and a couple of kids as long as a few people don't mind air mattresses and the couch!

I don't know if I will be able to go. I'm on the weekend program until July and although I can request off a weekend, a chick at work is getting married on memorial weekend. So everyone is trying to request off for it. Not to mention, I have some shit going on and I don't know if I'm going to have to have surgery and blah blah blah. If I have surgery, I'm out for 6 weeks. So, I'm pretty sure it's a no. If it changes, you will be the first to know.

Just so everyone knows I have the cabin we stayed in last year. From June 5th thru the morning of the 9th. So after the first cabin is done and over the party moves to the FIRE PIT OF DOOM!!! And now there is a horseshoe pit there too. Anyone who wants to stay there is more than welcome.

Sweet... I might swing by after we're done in Gatlinburg. It's only a couple of hours away I think.

Anybody down for a side trip down to the Blue Ridge Parkway? It'll be an all day ride with big mileage...

Rock Slide should get cleaned in time for you guys. It is more than 2 months away !!

And ... even though it is too far out yet, I am already thinking there should be a proper maintenance day before the trip. Started talking abt this with Loui yesterday at the meeting. I can do this if you all agree either May 8-9 or May 15-16.

Ok, lets wait and see what everyone else has to say abt dates and we set it up. For now, May 9th it is.

I have a few more tools than before, but you'd still need to bring in stands for your bikes and any special tools that you may need. I would also imagine several people will be doing oil change on their bikes so we need to plan for that (meaning, bring big containers and most important ... take them away)

I have everything else: cleaning rugs, cleaning products, chain cleaner and lub, funnels, compressor, tire pressure gauge, grill, pool, etc.

I would like a head count ... giving you plenty of time to plan.

The 9th would probably work fine for me. I'm sure all 4 of us would come over for 2 adults and 2 kids and MAYBE 1 additional adult.

Regarding the actual trip, I've scanned and uploaded 2 files. One is a PDF of the guest info and the other is jpg a map of the site. It was too big for my scanner, but I got most of it on there. The PDF is about 5 megs and the map is about 2.
