So I went to TWS today to get my CMRA license. The day went pretty well considerng the cold temps. At the end of the day there is a mock race. To make a long story short I got the hole shot off the line into turn one. Once I hit the back straight I was passed when i missed a down shift. The rider in front of me low sided hard in front of me in turn 9 (thought I was gonna run him over). I held the #1 position for the next 2 3/4 laps until I low sided in the horse shoe. The guy behind me got video so I should have it soon.

I think the problem was I pushed it too hard on cold tires. But we'll see when I see the video. The entire upper fairng needs to be replaced, rashed exhaust, dented tank, broke right peg and that's all I can tell ATM. Need to break her down and look closer.

ARRRGHH!! I'm so aggrivated!!! I think I could have won the race. There were about 15 of us in the mock sprint. So since I crashed I don't get my license. :(

Bummer dude...

Once I get my bike up and running, let me know if you need a hand putting your bike back together. I'm sure you have everything well within control, but another pair of eyes/hands never hurts.

That F*cking sucks! I'm sorry about that. Like a true addict, you didn't even bother to mention if you were hurt or sore. I'm assuming you are going to be sore 2morrow, let us know if it is any worse than that.
Let me know if you need some help tearing things down also. I still have some of your zip ties.

I'm good, bruised knee, elbow, ego and my lower back is a little tight. Wouldn't even have had the bruises if I didn't try to get up before I was done sliding which cause me to roll some. All in all, it could have been much worse.

Was the Control Riders name Brandt? He is a ridiculously fast rider and just started racing sometime last year. I think hes been riding only for a few years now.

Sad thing is he was probably riding pretty slow. I've ridden with him on the street a few times and thats not a mistake I will make again. Ill just meet up with them at the end.
